U.S. Canada Plan - Canadian Student in the U.S. - How long can I use it?

I'm planning to study in Cambridge Mass for more than a year.  I'd like to keep my Canadian number but also be able to use data, call and text in the U.S.

For the U.S. Canada Plan, can I stay in the U.S. for more than a year without coming back to Canada? I'm sure I'll visit for holidays but is there a limit of how long I can use the plan in the U.S.?

@Raashid   Have you used your phone in the US before?  Just in case you aren't aware the USA no longer has any 3G networks, so for your phone to work for voice calls there it needs to be VoLTE capable and enabled. on Public Mobile.  There are workarounds but it's easier if the phone is on PM's VoLTE list (see link) or a newer model of something already on it (it doesn't seem to get updated).

You can roam unlimited . It’s a true snow bird plan and can be used in either country to call either country talk text and data . So long as you keep the plan it good with no limit.
