Traveling to Europe can I text?

Hi I'm traveling to Europe for 2 weeks next week and I'm wondering if I can text back to Canada while abroad? I know I won't be able to call but I'd like to be able to text. Is there some way I can do this? I heard there's something called an esim? Anyone have any information on this? Thanks

You won’t be able to using Public Mobile. But  you would be able to use an app like WhatsApp or Facebook as long as you have access to wifi.  I got a Europe esim from Simcorner when we went it worked very well.  An esim is a sim card that you download to your phone instead of a physical sim card as long as your phone supports esim. sorry, you cannot.  There is no roaming for PM in Europe

you need to use app like Whatsapp or iMessgae or voIP app like TextNow to text/message
