Transferring number from lost cell

Hi.  I have a Public Mobile number and lost my cell.  Is there any way I can transfer the same number to a new PM sim card?  I have another cell and really do not want to have to change my number.  Thanks.

@bella11 , yes you can.  You should go into the self serve account and have it locked due to lost/stolen phone.  Obtain a new SIM card and then do a SIM card replacement and you are as good as new.  See help article link.

@bella11    Just log into your self serve account and under Quick Links (right hand side of page) select Change SIM card and follow prompts and you'll need to select verification method from PM.  Your number will be transferred to the new SIM and everything stays the same with your account.

edit:  of course, you'll need to purchase a new SIM first.
