Hi
I want to transfer my old phone number with me to Public Mobile. However, my old phone number is registered under my sister's name when we first signed up. Is it still possible to transfer the number to Public Mobile if the holder's name changes?

The names at the other carrier and Public Mobile do not need to match. You only need to know the name and have that entered in on the porting form.

@deschu As others mentioned just login into your selfserve
and as long as you have the account information you can setup the port by selecting the change number option from the landing page.

For virgin mobile, all you need is the three pieces of information as described above.

It is possible to change if holder's name changes. Which mobile company are you porting from?
Generally need three pieces of information for most porting:
1. Account holder name
2. Account number
3. Phone number.
