Hi I was initially with Koodo and decided to switch over to public mobile during black friday.

However, the coverage wasn't what I expected and it took me longer to load website pages even if though it was 5G when I needed it for work. 

 

So I decided to switch back to koodo and have done so. I currently have $10 on file. since I only was with public mobile less than a month. Do i get any reimbursement of the difference and can i also have that $10 on file back on my account if possible?

its all good, the information was probably given at the time.  I don't know if it was just me but even with the 5G service, my pages were not loading.. and I was in downtown. never worked when Im in the garage too but I still love the PB price!

@peachjelly012  Note I’m just a customer like you trying to help . I’m surprised the coverage didn’t work for you considering PM Koodo and Telus are the same network . But at least with Koodo you get live customer support

Sorry to hear that the service you received wasn't up to the prior standards you experienced. You need to do what's best for you in the end!

In terms of a refund for the payment on your residual billing cycle, PM is a pre-paid service. This means you paid for 30 days of service regardless if you didn't use all of it. From what I've witnessed, Public Mobile does not offer refunds if you choose to leave prior to the end of your 30 days cycle. Sorry if this was not the information you were hoping to receive.

@peachjelly012  No sorry PM is prepaid and no refunds . Once you ported your number back out of PM to Koodo it automatically closes your PM account
