I was wondering, how do you no when the transfer from your old carrier to an eSIM is complete?

@Jess_093  I’ll send you the porting team number for a status update on the port and re trigger it if needed . Will send private message as we not allowed to post it here

I did not receive a text. I received and email stating a text was sent out, but I have not received it yet.

Okay, thank you. My network still has my old carrier name.

@Jess_093 , to add to what @hTideGnow said, 

Reboot your phone
In cellular settings make sure that ‘Turn On This Line’ (for iPhone ) is selected. (I am not positive where the setting is on a different phone to turn it on, possibly ‘Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network’), reboot your phone.

@Jess_093  Are you just joining PM you can choose eSIM at the beginning of the activation . Or are you an existing  subscriber? If already a member then just log into the app in both cases and buy eSIM from subscription add on page . Notice at bottom buy eSIM select it and choose eSIM download and install

hi @Jess_093 you just joined PM?

did you get a text from your old carrier and you replied Yes? your old sim should stop working when porting completed 

for Pm esim, after you installed, you should be able to make outbound calls, just unable to receive inbound calls until porting done

if you able to make calls and you replied Yes to old carrier, reboot phone often and test inbound calls. When you able to receive inbound on your PM , then porting is done
