Hi
my son lost his SIM card (after traveling in USA)
and we would liek to transfer his # to another provider
I believe the number transfer process requires he responds to transfer SMS on his old Public Mobile account
is there a way to acknowledge the transfer without having the SIM car inserted in the phone and being connected to Publc mobile network ?
perhaps a screen in his Public Mobile Web Account ?

@cell1AToravsky Sorry, you cannot. A text is needed to approve the porting. The only exception to this rule is that if you are porting to Koodo or Telus (as they are one big Telus family 🙂 )
So, if you are porting to other providers, please get a sim card from your local Telus or Koodo store (around $10) and request Change SIM card on My Account. Once the new sim is tied to the account, you can then request porting again
