How can I transfer current member from Android SIM to iPhone 16 eSIM - No option to buy eSIM in the app.

On the web browser version of PM, the button to buy an eSIM is unclickable (greyed out).

what was the message about the lock?  it sounds like the phone was carrier locked.  Where you got it ?  You got it from some marketplace and not from Apple, right?

hi @Kev2600

try to uninstall the app, reboot your phone and try again

@Kev2600  The option is still there at least for me it’s is to buy eSIM just @hTideGnow  screen shots are missing this one step “continue with eSIM””

but honest if you already have physical sim it’s my opinion that physical sim is better to easily change devices in the fly or for trouble shooting . If it’s a matter of the physical SIM card appears to big for the new iPhone then you just have to pull the outer edge of the sim to be nano SIM card size

3 hole punch /desired size

Note flat edge corner / fit flush in tray

No lifting or rising /push in all the way

Hey @Kev2600

I just opened the app. Go to the Account tab at bottom. Scroll down to Purchase SIM card, there it will tell you your phone is eSIM compatible. Continue with eSIM $5 at the bottom should be there. So ya, first one is $5 and then the next are free.

hi @Kev2600

Sorry, unlike physical sim card, esim cannot be transferred from phone to phone, but you can buy a Free replacement.

What you need to do is to download the PM app on the new phone, login to the app, go to Account page and choose Buy sim card and select eSIM.

the system might still charge you the $5.  Pay and install the esim first.

After the new esim is installed, submit a ticket with PM agent and for reimbursement.  You can submit ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html  Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" ,  "Other",  "Log In".

Hello @Kev2600

Download the app on the new iPhone, and you can purchase an eSIM that way. It's $5 up front but $0.00 at check out. It's super easy to do.
