Would you please explain how to transfer a number from an employer ownership to private ownership?

You can but it can sometimes lead to problems.  Better to use the account number if you can.

Thank you for the replay. The employer agreed to port the number. Can I use IMEI instead of the account number of the business line? Should the employer unlock the number by contacting the provider or provider will contact them to request approval?

this is something you need to check with your work.  You can to check with them, have them to contat the mobile provider to release the account lock and allow you to port the line.  Also, make sure you know the account number of your own business line

once your office confirmed your line is ok to port out, you can then use PM app to subscribe the line and request porting.  After you submitted the port, you still need to leave your old provider sim card in the phone as they will send you a text to confirm if you want to port.  You need to reply their text within 90 mins with a Yes
