Transfer Number Issue and activation

I have just gone through every step to transfer my number from old provider to Public Mobile. However, I’m having trouble logging into the app as the verification code is not being sent to my number as my data still is not active. Would I have to wait? Could you look into my account everything is looking good?

@BellaJ  I’ll send you the porting team number private message and they can give update on the port corner trigger it if needed . If still after that you need further assistance you can use this direct link to support to help

@BellaJ it might not be a porting issue at the moment

first, can you PM sim card connect to PM network? can you make outgoing calls??

if you can make outgoing calls but data is not working, it is an APN issue, first try to Reset all network.  Also, try you sim I'm another phone

Can’t get the 6 digit 2FA code to your phone?

First, sign into your account at www.publicmobile.ca and use the email you signed up with and the password. If it asks you for a 6 digit code, it will say at the top left CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY.- Enter the 6- digit code sent to *********.  But it’s not working!!! As you see by the screenshot below, 1. Click the This is a trusted device. 2. Didn’t get the code? Click on that.

Then, the next window that pops up is this.

Click on Send email. Here it will send you the 6 digit code to the email you registered with. This step is very important. Do not just copy and paste. Enter each digit using your keypad.

You should now be able to get into your account.
