I was recently told to my delight that I can top off my account with talk minutes as well as data. As well, I was thrilled to hear that if the minutes and or data that you topped off with is not used by the end of your billing cycle, the amount remains until fully used (other than US funds which I do not care about because I do not go to the wildlands south of the border).
Great news, indeed. But it brings up one related question. So I will apply an example to make sure it is well understood.
Suppose I have an account with 100 minutes cap. Around day 25 of the current billing cycle I receive a text that I reached my cap. I top-off/add 500 minutes on that day.
Between that day and the end of the billing cycle I use 200 minutes (I talk up a storm with a new girlfriend 😁).
Once the new billing cycle comes up, on the first 5 days, I talk for a further 50 minutes (she dumps me because she caught me talking to the redhead four doors down from us even though I plead with her to not end it 😭).
Now the question that comes to my mind is:
Are the minutes removed from my monthly limit first (e.g. 100 minutes) or from the amount I top-off'd my account with which in this example, 500 of which 300 minutes remain on it?
Personally, I think it is removed from the top-offed funds first so I would have 250 minutes remaining. Of course, it would be a lot better for me if it was removed from my usual 100 minute cap that comes with my account first. As such, my top-offed funds would last longer. The would remain at 300, in this case.
So which one is it? For the sake of my girlfriends, I must know... 😉
Note: The above example was hypothetical.
Thanks

Lol....youre hilarious!🤣🤣🤣
Dang it I hit post....anyhow keep in mind your renewal occurs at midnight eastern. So if you are on the wet coast like me that happens at 9pm pacific. Your minutes and data counter rest at that time even though payment isn't taken til at least 11pm pacific. This also affects the accuracy of your data tracker in your phone.
You will also still get the text from pm telling you that you have 10 minutes remaining in your plan whether or not you have the $5/500min add on in your account. The holiday add ons you will recieve when you reply YES to the text from 4911 include 500 international minutes. These also include Canada wide and US calling. If your $5/500min add on runs out your calling will automatically switch to use those ones while talking to any of your girlfriends. If you intend to save them to call your girlfriend across the pond you will want to make sure you add another $5/500min add on before the first one runs out.
The girlfriend who really loves you will know that you have free incoming will call you back instead and use their unlimited minutes (if they have them) so you can conserve your outgoing minutes and spend your extra cash on taking her out for a nice dinner instead!😃
...and what's with these new emojis? I don't like them?!!🤔

for your plan $15 has 100 minutes and when you run out 100 minutes then the Add-one will
be used until you have run out of minutes,
for more information about Managing Your Data Usage visit Here link to save your data...
and turn off background data, to save your data.
when your data limit used all, is will be off until next renewal cycle,
at public mobile 30 day Prepaid Service No fees extra charges,
but if you want to Unlimited Canada-wide minutes upgrade plan to $25,

@newCellUser Your plan minutes/data will always get used first and then add-ons get accessed until your renewal which resets everything and you go back to using your plan features.
You're right that domestic add-ons don't expire and will stay on your account until completely depleted which is a great feature for PM customers.
Funny scenarios though... 😊

@newCellUser, once your plan renews you would then go back to your plan minutes and the remainder of your add-on would be not used until you have run out of minutes again.

@newCellUser...when you use up your regular plan minutes in the 30 day renewal period...then your $5 / 500 minute add-on will take over for calling. If you still have any add-on minutes left over when your regular plan renews...those remaining add-on minutes just roll over until you do use them up.
Why not consider getting the $25 plan with Unlimited Canada wide calling.
