Three way call not working

Had this issue with the old phone (LG G8x), was told by PM/Telus tech that it was due to old phones and lack of bands, upgraded to Samsung S24, but still unable to do three way calls.

Sorry, but the tech is giving false informaiton, and even if the information were true, the statement by the technican does nothing to help address the issue..  As I said, bands cannot and do not specifcially affect 3 way calling.  3 way calling uses the exact same bands as any other phone calls.  Also, the idea of network priortization of the network between different bands has long been floated around by salespeople for the purposes of closing a sale.  In addition, Public Mobile customers have access to the exact same netowrks and bands as Telus Mobility customers.  I'm certain that @sheytoon can weigh in here to state that no such prioritization occurs.

 Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA  code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)    When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen       

But if you have trouble using Chatbot to open ticket, then message PM using this link:

Thanks for this, they reset my account and it works, for now. I'm cynical that the issue won't reappear in a few months again.

Three way calling only not working cannot possibly be due to lack of bands and I'm assuming that standard phone calls are otherwise working.  Three way calling uses the same bands as any other phone call at Public Mobile.  I'm assuming that you're trying to add another person to the existing call using your phone's dialer app.  If it's not working in there, this is almost certainly an issue with Public Mobile.  Keep talking to the Public Mobile customer support agents and ask them reset the provisioning on your account.
