Even London drugs has gotten tired waiting for a promotion from public mobile. They've had to offer their own. It's better than nothing.....technically it's worth $70. (2×$30 1gb add ons+$10 sim)

The dilemma is the plan....you would use it with the $35 plan...but why not spend $5 more for 3.5gb and get the $40 5gb plan. The 2gb data add ons might sit there for a long time but they are a nice bit of insurance to occasionally dip into when you may have a higher than normal data usage month.

Personally I would not be running to sign up  just to get that promo. 

That being said I guess the 2gb is a good safety backup,  if you have the right plan you will never use it

now if it was a recurring data bonus for 12 or 24 months... that woudl have been another story.  one can only dream
