Thinking About Getting A Samsung A35 5G Phone

Currently have a Samsung A71 and it's alright, but get a lot of dropped calls on it.

So thinking of changing phones to the A35 since it's on sale right now for $329.99 at Staples and Amazon

What are ppl's opinions of this phone and does it even work with PM?  Will dropped calls be less with the A35 or is it more a PM thing than a phone thing?

It's sporadic and along the 401 usually

hi @kcorscadden

the phone will work in PM network without problem

but please note it will use 3G for voice instead of VoLTE. This is fine and nothing wrong with using 3G for voice, many are using that too

And someone asked about this earlier.   There was a reply saying it works on VoLTE. We are not sure, but it will be a bonus if it works

It will work on 3G but unless the below list is outdated, it does not have VoLTE so you might still encounter some dropped calls every now and then.  Probably best to stick to what you currently have.

I belive its a PM thing for now. On other carriers it might work but eventually they will probably restrict also.

do the dropped calls occur in several locations or just at home ? Here's a list of the cellhones that PM has enabled volte on. Having volte enabled phone might help in your situATION.
