Signed up for PM this morning.
Ported my number shortly afterwards.
Received text confirmation and everything is working correctly.
BUT when I try to refer someone, they keep getting this error.
Help!!

I tried using the original PM # (pre-port) I was assigned for the referral but I got the same error.

However, it's a brand new account and the system does need time to propogate. That's not abnormal, especially with the time porting is taking these days. If his number can't be used as a referral after 24 hours, I'd be concerned.
That being said, I wasn't aware this was a bug. I'll do a bit more research. 🙂

Hi fruzmatik,
This is not abnormal. Just give it a day and it should work fine. There's a bit of lag on the back end due to the high volume of ports and new customers!
Another option would be to have them sign up and ask a mod to add you as a referral at a later time when things have calmed down around here 🙂
