The most recent promo that ended on the 4th, can someone change their mind and keep their own plan.

A friend took an update - but didn't realize he had to pay 3 months at a time.

The change will start on the 10 - is there any way to cancel this update and stick with his original plan.

There is no cancel option that we can see.

Please help.

@MiZ_C If he cancelled a schedule plan change, everything should be the same as nothing had changed yet. What specifically was lost?

Thank you all for your help!!!  The fine print showed 90 day subscription so he got scared.

Finally he tried canceling the upgrade that was going to happen in 2 days - and it reverted him back.

Sadly as he was on a grandfathered in price, that good price he had, didn't come back.

He will decide what to do, as he is also not happy with the change to rewards - so he may look else where.

Please clarify. The $34/50GB Can/US promo was not a 90 day plan, it was only offered with a 30 option.

Further to that, if the plan change has already taken effect, you can't necessarily go back. Only if the old an is still available could you go back, but I'd suggest scheduling it for your next renewal to avoid double paying (there are no refunds/credits).

If the plan change is scheduled for a future date you can cancel the scheduled change.

Just to make sure, the plan that was labelled the 4th, ie the $34 for 50gb US/Can is not a 90 day plan so if that is the one selected, it is a 30 day plan.

@MiZ_C  If they choosed Change Now, instead of Change on Renewal which was  10th then unfortunately they cannot cancel cause they are already in that plan as of the 4. The only thing they can do is submit a ticket through the bot to see if they will allow to cancel and go back.

But  is is usually no refunds, so they might change back, but losing money already paid for the 90 days.

If had did chosen Change on Renewal,  then go into My Account under Payment tab will see upcoming,  just cancel it and will stay at original.
