The end of $15 plans, the end of 3G plans, when does the next ball drop?

There is a sunset coming close to end 3G. But just wondering what steps will PM take to eliminate current 3G plans.

I dont think PM really has many options when it comes to 3G plans... there's a lot of information out there about the security issues with 3G and how many of the major telecoms are shutting down their 3G networks...  As the technology continues to age and be unsupported, expect to be forcibly migrated to a more modern one.

PM removed the $15 back on July 25 if I can recall but existing members will remain on the $15 plan but if they switch plan in the meantime they can’t get the $15 plan as an option.

@SeniorCitizen , announcements do not cover marketing related matters.  As for the disappearance of the $15, it only applies to new activations.  I am sure there are many existing customers still on this plan.  I think we should at plan and pricing in perspective.  Are other goods and services still priced at pre-pandemic levels?
