Texts registered but I haven't used any outgoing texts?

I'm new to this and just signed up my daughter yesterday.  She has not used any outgoing texts however it shows on usage that there have been 7 outgoing texts. Can someone explain?

@etang yes that's just for first month. But if you change to another iPhone, it'll send out automatic again to activate Facetime & iMessage.

How can I tell if it is doing this?  It is all going to the same number. And yes, it is an iphone.

@etang I think when you check it'll show the number sent out like me. First time activated text will send automatic to activate iMessage & Facetime

@etang Is she using an iPhone? If yes, iPhone is known to be sending texts out to verify icloud and other services. You can verify this by going to the History page and see what number those texts were sent to.
