I received a text last month from Publicmobile asking g if I wanted to upgrade my plan for and extra 10 dollars a month. I replied yes35 to upgrade to 3 GB plus autopay bonus and I limited talk and text. It was supposed to be applied on May 30th but I'm still at my old 25 a month plan.  I would like to have the plan I was offered please

From what I understood, the plan would be automatically changed for you on your (May) next cycle renewal date. As it didn't happen, contact the moderators and explain your situation. Click on the green questionmark in the white circle at the bottom right of your screen.  This connects to the autobot Simon.  Type moderator and follow the prompts to get to one (CLICK on "Account specific question" and  "No I want a human" and "Submit a ticket Click me!")
Once connected, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password.  Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent. Also keep an eye on the envelope, the mods answer will show up there. Once it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue.
If you need to, you can also enable email notification to receive a private message notification sent to your email. Go to your community account > my settings > PREFERENCES > Private Messenger > enable "Receive email notifications for new private messages" > Save

Hi all,

 

I received the same text offer and my plan is still unchanged despite the fact that my renewal date was May 13th. I did reply to the offer before April 29th. Not sure what to do from here...

Thank you very much. I'm set up on autopay so all I have to do is wait 👍

@Dorser if you look at @Triguy 's post. It's actually your next renewal date. May 21 or 22nd. Make sure you have the $35 to pay for the new plan in your self service account before then. Stay safe.

I replied to it on the 22nd and didn't pay attention to the renewal date of May 30th. I have my months all mixed up. I'm going to patiently and gladly wait until May 30th for my upgrade

It was sent to existing customers on the $25 plan over 45 days of service.

According to the terms.  You have the choice to accept and upgrade to the 35$ plan with 3 GB of data on the next renewal date between May 1st and 30th 2020.

This is the offer.

Basically...on the $25 plan, active and for at least 45 days, autopay on, reply back with YES35 before the end of Apr 29.

I guess they make the plan change for you.

 

Edit: and then I read the thread. kselmak already copy/pasted the offer. And it says that the change would happen in ones May renewal.

@Dorser , I think you had until April 30th to reply and if you did reply before that time it may be applied to your next renewal after May 30th.  I don't think it is an instant plan change, now not getting the offer I can't say I am positive but just knowing how PM works and how long things take I can see it is having to respond by April 30th and it will change your next renewal after May 30th.

May 30th is 26 days from now

They will be moving those who replied by April 29th to their new plan after may 27th. Until then you will stay on your current plan

 

Edit: I saw another moderator discuss it a it's different from the first info I saw (or maybe I remembered wrong) here it is:

 

Once you are under the 25$ plan with 1 GB of data, you will get a text message telling you that you have the choice to accept and upgrade to the 35$ plan with 3 GB of data on the next renewal date between May 1st and 30th 2020.

 

As other eligibility criteria you must be with Public Mobile for at least 45 days, the account must be active(no suspended status) and you must be registered for automatic top ups.

 

Also, as conditions you will need to reply to the text messages with YES35 and you have until April 29th 2020 at 11:59 PM to reply YES35 to redeem the offer.

@Dorser don't rely on auto-pay, just manually add the funds into your account for this next renewal date to avoid potential problems. if you have available funds, PM will deduct from your self serve instead of your bank account.

@Dorser May 30th is a few weeks away. Do you mean March 30th? It supposed to change during your renewal date. Please confirm your renewal date.
