I received a text message earlier from Telus care centre, (which runs public mobile) stating an overcharge refund to my bank account. Never received this before, link takes me to e-transfer deposit although I have auto deposit. Does this seem like it could be a scam to get my banking info?

Some do, just as some accept payment by e-mail transfer. It's just not all that common. The giveway that this instance was fake has to do with the fact that this person has automatic e-mail transfer deposits enabled meaning that there would have been no need to take action to collect any such transfer.

People dont want me to become multimillionaire. I have received many emails (in the past) and text in recent times from Nigerian price and their lawyers based in UK wanting to share their wealth worth hundreds of millions of USD with me.
Everyone suggest me not to get this money... they are just jealous I guess.

This is fake. A refund from Pubilc Mobile would never be sent by e-mail transfer. That link is an attempt by someone to steal your banking credentials. Do not click on it.
