I'm not a fan of that article. Looks like Telus and Huawei are trying very hard to create hype and make it seem like they achieved some big milestone.
The truth is 5G is only being finalized now by the standardization bodies and it will be a few more years before we see any real deployments. My guess is 2020 at the EARLIEST.
There's also some technical inaccuracies in the article (4x4 MIMO is not MU-MIMO, and massive MIMO is not hundreds of antennas).
