I am not that techy so please be patient and explain like I am 5. I am unable to activate my iphone on the network. I used an eSim but when I try to scan the QR code I get a message Unable to activate sim, try again or contact my carrier for assistance.
When I send a text I get the message that it is undeliverable. When I make a phone call I get a recording saying that I am not activated on the network. I know there must be settings that I need to change in the phone itself but I am having no luck trying to do that.
Please help.

Ok. Try this. Go into your network settings, find the PM eSIM and choose that as the primary and then reboot. See if that works.
