Hello,
I am thinking of switching from Freedom mobile to Public mobile.
Public wants me to pay before I finish setup of my plan, but before I do that I have some questions I would like answered.
After paying how does the porting process work? Is it all done in the final step on the public website or do I have to call someone or talk to freedom?
Will public cancel my freedom plan for me?
What is the benefit of a referral code?
Is there a connection fee?
How do the public mobile rewards work?

you should use the PM app to complete the activation
Porting step is right after payment
You do not cancel Freedom account yourself. It is part of the porting process. Keep your Freedom sim in the phone after your activated with PM and requested porting. Freedom will send you a text to confirm and you need to reply YES. Them port will be done around 2 hours. Once porting is done, your Freedom account will be closed
No connection fees
Referral code get you a $10 credit. It will be deposited into your account within 72 hours
