Switching Plans mid cycle

If I switch to CAN/US/MEX this week will it be effective immediately? Travelling to MEX on Feb 11

a third option widely used is you can download Whatsapp to your cell. Have fam and friends do it to. Then you can keep in touch with the fam and friends using Whatsapp for free using your local wifi. You'll be able to call them, rec calls from them as well as message back and forth for gratis. Most resorts, motels, cafes and bars have free wifi in Mx...you just might hafta ask for their password.

You have two options. Change Now or At Renewal. If you choose Change Now, it will change right away. It make take a reboot to change it over. You will lose anything you've paid already for the 30 day plan you already purchased. Once you are back, you can not go back to your old plan. Sometimes, changing plans for a trip or two is more costly than getting a SIM card for Mexico when you get to the airport. Might be cheaper.

Airlo is a good option to look at.

if your next renewal date is before Feb 11, you can change plan using Change on Renewal option and it will schedule the plan change on your renewal

but if your next renewal is after Feb 11, you will have to use the "Change Now" option.  But since there is no partial refund, you should change it closer to Feb 11, but not on Feb 11, give it one or 2 days just in case something wrong.  So, come back on Feb 8 and use Change Now to make the plan change
