Hi,
I have 2 accounts I control (1 personal, 1 work) and I need to swap the numbers between my plans. I read initially that this wasn't possible but see that another user was able to get this done. Can you advise on next steps. Thanks.

I don't see what the issue is....you want your work number to get the rewards and your personal number to have no rewards? If you just need more data for the work plan then change your plan. If you want less data for your personal account.... change plans. Yes the $30/2gb plan is grandfathered but the $35/3gb plan has an extra 1gb for $5 and the $40/5gb has an extra 3gb for $10 more. Are you personally paying for your work phone or is your job? Surely they dont really care if your plan is $5 or $10 more?
Or are both of these plans really old and have full speed 4G LTE data?

Thre plans on the plan dont't make a difference when it comes to if this request can be fulfilled. Unfortunately for customers, the customer support agents have been instructed not to accomodate requests regarding swapping phone numbers between two different Public Mobile accounts.

1 is an old 2GB $30 plan that has all my rewards (3 year old account, personal)
1 is a new 500MB $25 plan that has no rewards

Officially - You read correct, "it is not possible." edited for clarity.
You can change the number to either of them 4 times every 30 days if you like, but as soon as you change the number, you lose the number you had.
And, you cannot port a Public Mobile number into Public Mobile.

No it's not really possible but you are correct that it has been done....rarely. What are the 2 plans you want to switch between?
If we determine you can't easily switch plans without losing one then you can contact customer support and maybe luck out and get a sympathetic CSA. Link the thread that showed its been done recently to show precedence.

@-unknown- No, this cannot be done officially. You can try to open a ticket with PM to confirm but very likely they would tell you they cannot help
