Suspending subscription

If I suspend my account, will the monthly payment be put on hold during the same time when the account is suspended? I don't seem to be able to find the answer clearly.  Please advise.

Is it correct that ending the subscription on the Public mobile app also means suspending the account and not losing the phone plan when we subscribe again? Thank you indeed.

This was answered earlier.  In Public Mobile's confusing choice of wording, "subscription" only refers to autopay.  It's actually possible to continue using the service indefinititely by making manual payments.  Disabling the "subscription" does not suspend your service in any way unless and until your plan doesn't renew due to there not being enough funds in the Public Mobile account. Your account would only get closed if your account is in suspension for 90 days, but turning off autopay in itself does not immediately suspend your service.

I have auto renew in my account and will the auto payment stop automatically at the end of the billing cycle?  Can I stop payment in the middle of the billing cycle since I will be out of the country a few days after the billing cycle started.

There isn't any way to pause an active plan in the sense that the remaining days cannot be saved for later/the countdown of the remaining days cannot be stopped.

The option called "subscription" is only about turning on or off autopay.  The option is poorly named as it does not actually suspend your plan subscription.

You need to turn it off yourself. This is how you suspend your account. You will still have phone service as it won't cut off until your current 30 day cycle is over. So if you don't want it to charge your next 30 day cycle, turn it off now and it will be on pause for 89 days till you get back.

If you don't pay or auto renew your account goes into a suspended state at the end of your cycle until the next time you pay. You have up to 90 days to pay or your account will be closed and your number lost.

Hello @JAWAH

If you turn off the auto payment, the next 30 day plan will not be charged. You will have 89 days from that date to come back and get your number and same plan. After 90 days, you'll have to start new.
