Hello all,
I was phoneless up until today so I had my service suspended (roughly 1 month). Today when I unsuspended my service, I noticed my payement date remained unchanged. I am not sure what Public Mobile's policy is but if my service is suspended am I still getting billed for that time ?

As PM plans are prepaid plans, you can stop service via your self serve account, but you cannot stop the time and get money credited or as you probably hoped to get the plan extended for 1 month. Your plan will continue untouched and the due date will stay the same no matter if you manually suspend your service or not.

If you reported your phone as lost/sotlen and voluntarily put your account into suspension for that 1 month time period but you had a plan that had not expired yet and that plan is longer than 1 month (ie. 90 day plan), I do not believe your payment due date gets changed.
Did you still have an active plan when you put the service into self-initiated suspension?

An account becomes suspended when a plan expires and no payment is made toward a renewal, or when a payment fails. Therefore, you are not charged for a suspended period. However, any available funds you may have in your account will remain there during a suspension.

No we don't @nourel, your service reactivates once a payment is made for the new bill cycle 🙂 You are not billed for suspended days!

let me clarify, if I suspend my account. Does public mobile still bill those suspended (inactive) days ?

Your payment date should reflect your last payment. Did you renew the current plan, or change it?
