How is it possible to get the payment out of ''calculation'' status when activating a device. It does it on different pages, networks, or any device you try to do it with.

First make sure that you were not accidentally charged by Public mobile.
Are you activating on the PM app or via website?
If via website, try clearing cache, incognito mode or a different web browser.
If via PM app, try to clear cache also. Or you can delete app and re-install app again.
