Bought sim card for my tablet. Can they be used for the same number and account?

@Bug1  If you have an iPhone and an iPad, you can have both ring with the same number just by going to settings and selecting to ring on all associated devices on your Apple ID.  You would not need a sim card in the tablet for that.  You can also hotspot off a phone, i.e. use the phone as a wifi connection for the tablet.  But as already noted you can't have two sims on the same number and account.

If your tablet has a mobile carrier, then just like a phone you have to download the app and start with following the instructions from there

@Bug1 it sounds to me like you are asking if you can use the same number and account on both, the tablet and your phone? If this is what you are asking then the answer is no, once you setup another SIM card on existing account the old SIM card will stop working. You can only have one SIM card per account and each account must have it's own email address

Hello @Bug1

I'm not really sure what your question is.

First, because Public Mobile isn't really for tablets, you need to download the app on a phone and set up the account that way. Once you've got everything working, then you can transfer the SIM card to the tablet. Then reboot the tablet.
