My father just brought up that his data was not working. I was able to duplicate the issue by moving his sim card to an old phone. I've also had him restart his device. He did seem to still get the 2FA code, so text seems to work.
His plan has under 900MB used out of 40GB this cycle. Plus he has the large GB bonus from being switched to the new rewards plan.
Any troubleshooting recommendations?
I am considering buying him a new SIM card or figuring out if I could get an eSIM card for my plan and using my SIM card in his phone instead. I don't know how to switch to eSIM though. My phone is eSIM compatible, his is not.

Resetting the APN seems to have worked. I didn't even know of this troubleshooting step. Thanks.

@Dai1 since only data does not work, it would not be sim card problem
and the data worked before??
it likely an APN problem, start with Reset all networks and see if it works
if not, manually update the APN. Compare the APN settings below, try to update it and save:

I just confirmed voice works fine, along with text. Data is not working at all.

I believe his is the Huawei P30 Pro and my old device is the Xiaomi Redmi A11

@Dai1 so, the data didn't work on another old phone as well?? but voice works?? what model of phone is that??
