I bought a new one, my old one doesn't seem to work anymore. How do I activate it?

Public mobile is entirely an online mobile provider there is no number to call and no need for the OP to "activate" their sim card. If needed the new sim card can be swapped for the old one in self serve. Since the "old" sim card works in another phone the issue is not with the sim card but with the device.
What is the make and model of your phone?

If the old SIM works in another phone then the phone is the problem. Try a factory reset your phone and see if that works. Remember to backup your phone.

If it works in another unlocked phone then it is not a problem with your SIM card. Try reseating the card in your phone and reboot. You might want to also reset your network settings on your phone and reboot.

You can change your SIM card in your self service account. BUT before you do that ensure there is a problem with your SIM card and not with your account/phone. Is your account in Active status? Have you tried your SIM card in another unlocked phone?

@finbarr1 Login to your self-serve account and click on Change sim card. Add the new sim number and it should work. You might need to reboot your phone.
