Recently (since about late July/mid-August), I have been unable to receive encrypted MMS on public mobile. Prior to this, I was able to receive encrypted MMS without issue. I can still recieve unencrypted MMS no problem. Was something changed recently?

@sheytoonYes, that is the case. Both users do have the app installed. I wouldn't expect the mobile carrier to affect the operation of the app, but it is the case. I can receive encrypted MMS without issue on my second Telus SIM, but I can't on my Public Mobile SIM. Additionally, I was able to use the Public Mobile SIM just fine earlier this year.

Are you talking about a specific messaging app that encrypts the messages at the source and decrypts it at the destination? If that's the case, both users need the app installed.
I can't imagine the cellular operator being able to influence this at all.

Sorry, I can't help, but what is encrypted MMS? Is it delivered directly by the operator?
