Hello @Bluntman ,

As others have already mentioned, if this was a recent activation where you transferred your telephone number to Public Mobile, then refer to the advice listed above. If it is an existing service, however, and calls have suddenly started going straight to voicemail, you might want to perform a couple of troubleshooting steps:

1) test call your number from another cell phone or landline to see if it is going to voicemail

2) make an outbound test call from your cell phone to another cell phone or landline, and see if your number shows up on call display

3) if your outbound test call does display your number, but your incoming test call goes to voicemail, check your call forwarding/ringer settings to see if you have somehow activated do not disturb

Please post your results. Hope this helps.

@Bluntman - Ways to contact Public Mobile Customer Support (CSA) below:

1-Normally Faster - use this link to: Get Help With Public Mobile Chatbot], also found in various places in Public webpages, and bottom right corner of the page (See the Chat Bubble),

2-OR, go to your ENVELOPE at the top right of your Community Account which is where your Inbox and Sent messages are. Select the orange/peach color box with the pencil inside it to start a new message.  Type CS_Agent in the SEND TO box. This will create a private message to Public Mobile Customer Support.

But really, did you just or recently port over a phone number to public mobile ? This is helpful info to know so we can provide the best advice for next steps.

@Bluntmancan you tell us if texts in/out work?

As for your data, are you sure you have some left..are you on the 250mb plan?

If you have data left try performing a reset of the device's network settings.

@Bluntman - if this is a new activation did you port over from another provider? Incoming calls are normally the last to complete during a port.

  • Cell ports can take 2-3 hours. Use the previous provider's SIM card to receive the porting transfer text for approval, within 90 minutes, to port over to Public Mobile and to receive calls from until port is complete.
  • Landline/voip ports can take 3+ days. Expect a mix of services on the landline and Public Mobile SIM card until port is complete.

When the incoming calls stop on the previous provider’s SIM card and/or landline/voip account, that is a good indication the port is complete.

Can you provide more info?
