Service not working

HeatherMehmet

I am trying to make outgoing calls and keep getting the number you have dialed is not in service, but this is for numbers that are in service- tested on my daughters. It rings to her but wont allow me to connect. As well incoming calls wont allow me to pick up a call, its rings but every time I try to answer it hangs up. I reset the setting on my phone and also made sure airplane mode is off, restarted phone.

@HeatherMehmet  Do you have physical sim or eSIM ? If eSIM ensure it’s set to primary in phone settings and remove old providers sim from phone . If physical sim maybe try taking it out and trying it in your daughters phone and test if it works out it back in your phone and see if it then works otherwise you may need to ask support to refresh your account

I have the Samsung S23 so I dont think that is the issue, and we run off the Bell Network.

what phone do you have?  PM uses Telus and Bell Network.  Telus is in the process or realigning some 850 Mhz channel on its 3G network for other use.  People who have phones that is not whitelist on PM VoLTE list (some older phones) and  those do not have 1900Mhz (phones that are not designed primarily for North America) will have voice trouble.

So, depends on the phone you have, it might not be something that can be fixed unless you change phone, or if your phone has VoLTE, then you can move to Koodo or Telus
