Service Interruption in Surrey, BC?

I have been experienceing full signal drop multiple times, this has just started within the last 3-4 hours.

Area that i am in, Any reports of service interuptions out here?

Looks like its an issue with an app.

Snapchat, when it access's LOCATION data, drops the whole signal.

I have disabled location access for the app and no more problems.

Hi @BrrMcGrr.  Looks like you're in the Port Kells area.  Today I'm mostly in South Surrey area, and I've yet to notice anything.  But then, I'm also tethered to WiFi at my current location so I may not have noticed some mobile network drops (if any).  

Out of curiosity, do you reboot your phone every now and then?  Have you tried rebooting it today to see if it helps with the drops?  Phones do straaange things sometimes, and a simple reboot often fixes them.  If the problem persists into tomorrow, we could ask one of our PM Community Moderators (PM staff) to have a look.

No issues where I am (also Surrey). Might be a localized tower in your area?
