I’m trying to transfer my number from Bell but it says invalid phone number

I had a friend that had an issue porting from SaskTel this posting was a helpful to determine if their phone number could be ported. Our interpretation of the directory was that Telus needs to be listed as a carrier for the town/city in the area code, which my friend ultimately had to get a new phone number to be with Public Mobile.

some numbers are restricted with some carriers by default and not able to be ported as freely. There used to be an online too to check porting edibility into PM but that check is gone. You will have to ask PM support agent to confirm. Please message them directly
