Hi, I want to switch my husband over to Public. 3 questions: 1. Is his phone compatible with Public? 2. Would a 4G plan work or should I be looking only at 5G plans 3. Any know if there will be a Black Friday sale this year?

A16 is fully compatible with PM network, including the VoLTE, as long as yours is a Canadian version

Just a note that all plans access the full network, 5G, 4G and 3G. The '5G' in the plan names refers only to the speed limit applied to the plan.

To confirm if your phone will work with Public Mobile, please see this link. At the bottom of the page, you can insert your IMEI number and the system will advise you if it will work with Public Mobile.

To me, it's about cost of plan, how much data is being offered vs how much I really need, the perks such as Canada US Mexico plans, do I really need it right now...  Public Mobile is about saving money and if there is a lower plan now that will work for his needs, you can always upgrade later.

There are always Black Friday deals. Personally, I'd wait till then to see what offers come out and then decide. Don't forget to use your referral code so you get credit for bringing him to the Dark Side. 🙂

that cellphone will work on Public Mobile network, but it's not 5G capable.

Select whichever plan works best for your budget and lifestyle. 

All cell providers seem to have Black Friday "sales"...I'm sure Public Mobile will too...just keep watching and when you see something attractive, grab it while you can.
