Ordered a Samsung A22 4G because I saw that it is compatible, but was delivered a Samsung A22 5G. Will this work on the network, or do I have to return it? Thanks in advance!

It will work but just disable 5G and Automatic or it will search for the nearest frequencies and will get some blank sound while switching back and forth.
Set it on LTE/4G or on the 3G Network Mode settings.

Just one more note, your phone is not a Canadian model. It will work but it wasn't designed specifically for Canada market
this are the frequencies the phone has and BOLD are the compatible ones
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100
4G bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41
and these are the bands used here
Please note any phone should ideally have 3G B2, B5 and LTE B4 (or B66 instead of B4), B12 (or B17 instead of B12) for minimum coverage.
You phone will work, but won't work great. there could be some reception issue due to lack of compatible bands
If you can change your order for a phone more compatible with PM network, I would pick another one

Yes, it will work!

@Rpenner Yes, the 5G version is better with extra 5G bands, but it is backward compatible with 4G and 3G. So, no worry, try on the new phone
