SMS not working

Hello, I've just transferred to PM. Phone and data is working fine. However SMS (sending and receiving) is not working.

first, Reset network settings.

Then go to Google Message app info,  clear cache and clear data  (backup important messages first).  Then try

if that does not work, uninstall Google Message (it won't fully uninstall, it will simply uninstall the update and leave it with the version it came with the phone originally).    Then reboot phone, go back to Play store to update the Google Message.  With that, the Google Message with re-register RCS and it will resolve your problem

Sometimes SMS needs few days to find a way to your new phone after porting your number.
usually it is a case for a banks and similar institutions but you never know...

Which phone are you using?

try rebooting your cell to see if that helps. Alternatively, you can also do a network reset, but that'll erase all passwords you have stored.
