Email to Text still works.
Yours didn't go through because you had the wrong domain. The proper domains should be:

Also, please note that only Plain Text format, not HTML, email can send through. If you are using desktop mail client, most of them are defaulted to Send as HTML, so you have to change it back to Send as Plain Text. Or if you use Gmail app or via browser, make sure they are send as plain text
