hi,
I have asked for the transfer of my cell telephone number (from Koodo) to here. I already have received the email from Koodo but I cannot at this point put physically the new SIM card in my phone. If I insert my SIM card in my phone this saturday, am I going to be able to activate the new SIM card in my phone?

@Didi61 You have to start the porting transferring phone number from Koodo s, starting with public mobile . This can be done when you activate the public mobile SIM card on the public mobile app . You can do this at time activating the account or you can do it afterwards activating with temp phone number from public mobile . This all to say if it’s Koodo post paid you have , if you have Koodo pre paid then you have to still. Activate the public mobile SIM card in the public mobile app but then you have to also choose temp public mobile phone number then submit ticket to support to help transfer number over from Koodo , here’s link for support should you have Koodo pre paid

did you get a SMS text from Koodo asking for your approval to the number porting? If you did, you will have to reply Yes to that within 90 mins
after you replied, you can wait another hour and remove the Koodo sim card and put in the PM sim card with a reboot and test both inbound and outbound calls
