SIM card stolen

The public mobile people don’t want this to get out . But if you purchase a SIM card on Amazon good luck. Another person already has my number I paid 2 months for. And public mobile says that isn’t possible and there’s nothing they can do. Even though, I never had an issue with any other SIM cards I’ve acquired even from the dollar store. Unless you want to be scammed DO NOT USE OR BUY PUBLIC MOBILE !!!! I will tell everyone I know.

can you send us the link you used to buy from Amazon?

can you login to My Account at this time?  if you said another person has your number, that can be a Telus glitch if you picked new number.  The system sometimes will give out numbers that owned by someone already.  It's a glitch and it is fixable, you just have to login My Account and pick a new number.  If you cannot login due to 2FA SMS issue, ask PM to help to choose a new number first

Hmmm, not sure what to say @Kels5 I have purchased over 2 dozen SIM cards from Amazon and never had one issue. I've signed up at least 20 of them without problems. Now, I'm not picking sides but I think outside the box. What if someone purchased the SIM from Amazon, used it and then returned it? Was the SIM card loose from it's plastic holder or was it intact? I think there's more to this story here. Also, and what your saying makes zero sense. You purchase the card from Amazon yet you are blaming Public Mobile? Oh, and one more note, you can't purchase Public Mobile SIM cards from the dollar store. So your comparison is a moot point.

Are you complaining about Public mobile the company? Or purchasing the Public Mobile SIM card from Amazon?

Everyone has different luck, but I lost my SIM card about 6 months ago and purchased one from Amazon which I'm using right now. No issues with it.

I don't know what happened in your case, but just buy a new one from Telus store and swap the number in your profile.

@Kels5

Not sure how they stole your number. You don't get a number until you get the sim and activate your account. You select a number during that process...or you initiate the port process of the old number in to Public Mobile. Your old account must be active and in good standing, to be able to port successfully. Did you let your old number go dormant sometime.
