I tried to set up a new account. Online, the SIM card was accepted as valid, but the credit cards (2) were not being accepted, even though the information was correct. I exited that screen and now when I try to activate the SIM card again, it says it's invalid. Does it get invalidated with one attempt to activate it? That seems silly...

Most likely account has not been created at all.

Watch for envelope in top right corner of Community page. It will show Number of unread emails.

Clear the cache, cookies and go on incognito on your browser then re-enter the information.
Also check to see if your CC was charged. If it was, the SIM could be activated.

Check if your CC has been charged. Can you log in to your account? Does it say Active?
