SIM Card

Meg-Bow

Hello,

I purchased a SIM Card (on May 14, 2025) less than 30 minutes after my husband did. Yet, his arrived the next day (Friday, May 15, 2025) and mine did not. I wanted to confirm that my SIM Card has at least shipped, as I have not got any confirmation besides the payment confirmation email.

Thank you

sim purchase delivery time varies by a lot.   But it only has been couple days and this is a long weekend, you should receive the other one this week

Wait for at least till May 21, then ask PM to check.

Hello @Meg-Bow

There is no way to confirm as there is no tracking Canada Post shipments. You may just have to wait a bit longer as it can take up to 3 weeks to get one. If you already got one that fast, that's awesome.

If you haven't received it after 3 weeks, you can advise Customer Service this way. And below are faster ways to get a SIM card.

The Public Mobile chatbot is currently unable to create trackable tickets for members who are unable to log in. So for this reason, please use the following link to contact them.

During business hours (9 AM-10 PM EST) you can expect a response within 30 minutes, but it may be longer depending on current volumes.

To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.

Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99

FYI, if your phone can handle an eSIM, you may wish to reach out to a CS Agent ASAP and get that done today. This way you can use your husbands referral number and he'll get a $15 bonus and you'll get $25 bonus. $10 within 72 hours and $15 within 45 days. You have until tonight to get these bonuses. If your phone doesn't do eSIM but his does and he hasn't signed up yet fully, then you can do it and all above goes to him. Hope that made sense. 🙂

Most customers will receive the physical SIM card within 10 business days.  Your location must be near one of their distribution centres since your husband got the SIM card the next day.  I would expect that you should receive your SIM card early this week.  This is the long weekend, so hopefully by tomorrow.

BTW, which carrier sent your husband SIM card?  Canada post?

You can open a ticket trough chatbot but I doubt agent can provide info if your SIM has been sent or not.

Maybe department sending SIMs is 'confused' if SIM if going to the same address and they think they already sent it. Just guessing...
