Hello Community,
A roaming+call forwarding related question - Will I be charged roaming on my Rogers number (Only Canada plan) if I forward its calls to my Public Mobile number (Canada+USA plan) while travelling to the USA? Both my numbers are from Canada and I plan to forward Rogers calls to Public before turning off the Rogers line. I still want to receive my Rogers calls and texts when in the States while using the benefits of Public Mobile's cheaper plan rates.
Thanks in advance for your help!

@A_K_C When I was on Rogers there was a limit on call forwarding, I think it was 2500 minutes which is quite a lot but you do need to check with them.

This is a question to ask Rogers. Whether there would be extra charges by Rogers would depend on your Rogers plan. There have been plans in the past offered by carriers that did not include unlimited call forwarding.

Should work for calls, yes. Texts won't forward, but you can receive texts [directly on your Rogers phone] for free, even while abroad. Just don't reply or you'll be charged!

sound work without issue, no LD charge with Rogers. For Rogers, it is still forwarding to a Canadian number. It does not care whether the phone with the number in Canada or Overseas, all it cares is that it is a Canadian number.
