I am currently using PM's network on a physical SIM. I am thinking of switching to eSIM from the current physical. I may want to switch back to physical SIM in the future. Can I use the same physical SIM that I migrated from? or it's discarded once I switched to eSIM.
Thanks!

Nope..once you've changed the existing sim to esim...it's done...not reusable.

Unfortunately, unable to reuse Physical SIM card once your migrate to eSIM.
You can transfer eSIM card to another phone, but presently, you will need to purchase a new eSIM for the new phone.

no, sim card is a one time use thing. Once you activated eSIM, your current sim card will be voided and can no longer be used
To change back to physical sim, you will need to buy a new one
And, eSIM might have more cons than pros. One big thing, if you ever have a new phone, or you wiped your phone, you will need to pay $5 for a new eSIM, no such cost for physical sim. So, unless you need your physical slot for other uses, like you have multiple lines, I suggest you to stay with physical sim card
