I see some good deals here and trying to come back.
I put in my sim card number but it said invalid. Is that because I used a different email address and does not match the same one that this sim card was used earlier? But I no longer using that Shaw's email and no way I can use that email again
please let me know what to do

The email itself does not matter, but the old sim no longer useful, you need to get a new one

Personally @Carol_N2 - I don't find the deals or current offers really that spectacular. They have been much better IMO over the last several months. Personally, if you can hold out a bit longer, I'd wait for a better offer to come out.

You need to start from scratch. Purchase a new SIM from your local Telus/Koodo or Mobile Klinik store. Download the PM app on your phone and subscribe to a new plan. You can use your new email but you can use your old password.
You will have the option of porting your number over from your old carrier in step 5 so leave your old carrier SIM in the phone and wait for the confirmation text from them that you are porting over to PM and answer YES within the 90 minute timeframe. The old SIM will continue to work for about 2 hours until porting is completed.

as a returning customer, now you must download the Public Mobile app to your cell, create a new account, buy an esim then activate the account using a different email address than the one you used previously. You'll be given opportunity to transfer your old number if you want it.
ed...
You old hard sim is junk...you'll need to buy a new one if using hard sim now.

Sound like you are reusing the old sim card. But sim card is one time activation only. You will need a new sim card to reactivate a new account
