Hello! I recently travelled to Europe for three weeks. While I was away, I took my public mobile sim card out and put a European sim card in. I have now returned to Canada and put my public mobile sim card back in, but none of the calls or messages I was sent while I was away have come in. How do I retrieve them?

Hello @Scobie , As per the Public Mobile subscriber data storage limitations mentioned by @softech above, I really doubt that Public Mobile would be able to retrieve this data for you. It is most likely purged after 5 days. However, you can reach out to a Customer Support Agent via private message, explaining what has happened, to see if there is any other solution. If they do indicate that there is a way to retrieve this data, please let us know.

This router would have helped you:
Just leave your PM SIM in the router at home and you will get calls and text messages from the app while you are abroad.

Oh shoot! I really need to access these missed texts and calls. Do you know if there is any way at all to retrieve them? Could I pay public mobile to retrieve them?

PM , following the same as Telus, only keeps message for 5 days and will delete the message if messages are undeliverable after 5 days
https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/3-easy-steps-to-fix-your-text-message-issues
The TELUS network will store and attempt to deliver the text messages to the phone for up to 5 days. If the messages are not delivered after 5 days they will be permanently deleted from the network.

@Scobie it may if you just take out for and hour or so . But I think 3 weeks just to long to receive it

Thanks for your reply. Yes, my calls and texts are working normally now. When I took my telus sim out in the past, the messages came in after I put the sim back in. I was hoping this would be the same with public mobile.

@Scobie Most likely because the sim wasn’t in the phone to receive them . But your services are still working now to call and text ?
