Restoring old community id

 Had a account several years back linked to same email address. Wouldn't let me register with old nick for community forum, said it already exists. Yeah is me since set up new phone under same email address. Can I go back to original nick? Same nick without the digits behind it?

You need a CS_Agent to help you with your old Community ID. 
There was a few members with the same issue.

Just private message in the envelope icon on your computer or tap on your Avatar>Messages>pen/paper icon.
