Nobody suggested buying add-ons to tie you over until your renewal. Then what's left waits until it might be needed again.

The chatbot could use improvement in better understanding customer issues and questions. Unfortunately, sending a private message to make the first contact with a customer support agent means that you will receive slower service due to a priority queing process. For furture, asking the chatbot to open a ticket will allow contact to made with Public Mobile.

Yeah the chatbot was a dead end for me but I did send them direct message I appreciate all the help

First check your credit card to assure PM has not charge you yet
try to login to My Account using Incognito mode
then check what your current plan is.
If it is the new plan, all good 🙂
If it is the old plan ($45 20GB) , try to change plan again. With Incognito mode now, it should work this time
(again, make sure PM has not charge you yet from your credit card before you proceed with another attempt of changing plan)

Yeah I have the $45 20 gig plan but I tried changing my plan to the $35 one but at my original reset date and then purchase the $45 plan and activate it right away it would get me all the way up to like the payment process and it would even say it worked but it doesn't work

@softech it might be worth mentioning that if they do option 1 and they have a grandfathered plan (not in market) they will not be able to go back to their old plan once they change.

you can make a plan change to any other plan DIFFERENT from your current one. Please use Change plan now option
2. Slower way
you have to open ticket with PM Support and ask them for an early renewal
1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗"
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply to you there

Send a message to CSA agents via chat bot and ask them to renew your plan early.
